British Airways is delighted to announce that the first new Airbus A380 aircraft will fly from Los Angeles to London Heathrow, with tickets going on sale today.
Los Angeles will be the inaugural destination for the first A380 to be operated by a UK airline. The double-decker superjumbo is due to be delivered to British Airways in July and seats are now on sale for flights from October 15, 2013.
In celebration, British Airways are offering extraordinary round-trip fares from Los Angeles to London starting from only $830* in World Traveller economy, $1380* in World Traveller Plus premium economy and $3800* in Club World business class – including all taxes, fees and carrier charges. These fares are only for sale from March 5th through March 13, 2013 for travel from October 15, 2013 - December 13, 2013 and January 07, 2014 – March 17, 2014 from Los Angeles (LAX) to London (LHR). All flights from LAX (not limited to A380) to London will apply.
The second A380 route will be from London to Hong Kong and these flights are also available to book now for travel from November 15, 2013.
