2013 LIONS TOUR

 

Looking ahead to an exciting season of domestic and international matches culminating in the British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia 2013, Gullivers Sports Travel is delighted to announce Colin Charvis as its new ‘Ambassador for Rugby’.

A former captain of Wales (94 caps) and a British & Irish Lion in Australia 2001, Charvis needs little introduction to rugby fans. Until 2011, he was the world record try scoring forward in Test match rugby, having proudly scored 22 tries for his country

In his role as Ambassador for Rugby Charvis will join Gullivers, and fans travelling on its tours, to major international rugby events including the British & Irish Lions Tour 2013, RBS 6 Nations and Hong Kong Sevens. 

With visits to Australia as the captain of Wales for Rugby World Cup 2003 and as a British & Irish Lion in 2001, Charvis is perfectly placed to lead the passionate Gullivers’ rugby travellers to the much anticipated Lions Tour in 2013. Excitement is already building following the appointment of Warren Gatland to Head Coach of the team last week.
