Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club

Spring has arrived at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club on Cape Cod, and the team at Ocean Edge invite families to celebrate the opening of their Nicklaus Design golf course, tennis courts and bike rentals from April 12-April 21.

Families will enjoy plush, newly renovated accommodations in the Mansion Guest Wings, adjacent to the historic Victorian-style Nickerson Mansion or one bedroom villas on The Villages side that feature kitchenettes, washer, dryer and separate bedroom and living areas complete with pull out sleep sofas. Nightly rates start at just $145* per room, per night, for a family of four in a One-Bedroom Villa or $195* per room, per night in the Mansion Wings.

Kids will enjoy the famous Golden Bear golf clinics, family golf sessions and tennis clinics. Bike rentals are available on-site with access to the 26-mile Cape Cod Bike & Rail Trail, which dissects the resort. As always, the two indoor pools will be ready for fun with pool parties and loads of daily activities.

Family favorite programming this year include Project Runway, where kids design their own fashions and are announced over a microphone, Stargazing on the Resort’s private beach, “Drive-In” movies on the Mansion front lawn, and hip hop classes for kids that want to move. Other features include an Xbox Kinect Room, open daily with indoor movies for those with smaller children.

For parents looking to have a little fun of their own, Ocean Edge is offering cooking demonstrations by Executive Chef Phil Flath and a wine tasting event. Adults will love the designated adults only swim times, daily fitness classes including yoga on the beach, water aerobics and spinning.

Delectable breakfast buffet will be offered each morning at Ocean Terrace. Lunch and dinner will be served at cozy Bayzo’s Pub and the Linx Tavern. Poke around the quaint town of Brewster, or visit the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History with art programming Monday through Friday at 1pm.
