Sandals Resorts, long known for creating romantic paradises expressly for two people in love, and sister-company Beaches Resorts, offering a premier Caribbean vacation experience for everyone, have further expanded their charitable gift programming, now linking the companies’ philanthropic arm, the Sandals Foundation,  to the resorts’ Wedding and Honeymoon Gift Registries. The new option gives couples celebrating their joyous occasion the opportunity to help less fortunate residents of the Caribbean through a donation to the Sandals Foundation in addition to receiving traditional wedding gifts.  This addition to the registry program provides couples, and their family and friends alike, a wonderful way to “give back” to the region where they are celebrating one of the most memorable occasions of their lives. 

The Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts Gift Registries, powered by Honeymoon Wishes – the world’s leading and most trusted on-line registry that has close to a quarter million registered couples – allows couples to add the Sandals Foundation as a gift option to their registry.  Once the couple has registered at Registry.Sandals.com or Registry.Beaches.com, friends and family are invited to donate to the Foundation in increments of $25.00. One hundred percent of all donations go to fund Sandals Foundation projects in three core areas: education, community and the environment and include Care for Kids Scholarships, Youth Sports Programs, Adopted Schools, Community Centers, Marine Sanctuaries, Beach & Reef Clean Ups, and many more.  By contributing to the Foundation, the happy couple’s friends and family are also eligible for a charitable tax deduction, as the Sandals Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
